A Academia de Artes e Ciências Cinematográficas acaba de anunciar os filmes e actores que estão nomeados para os Óscares 2016, cerimónia que vai ter lugar dia 26 de Fevereiro e apresentada por Chris Rock.
O anúncio foi dividido em duas partes, uma primeira para apresentar as nomeações para os chamados Óscares técnicos e a segunda para os galardões principais, como o de Melhor Realizador, Melhor Filme ou Melhor Actor/Actriz.
Os realizadores Guillermo del Toro e Ang Lee (durante a primeira parte) e o actor John Krasinski e a presidente da academia Cheryl Boone Isaacs (na segunda) não anunciaram grandes surpresas.
The Revenant (O Renascido), de Iñarritu é o campeão das nomeações, com 12. Entre elas estão a de Melhor Filme, Melhor Realizador e Melhor Actor, para Leonardo Di Caprio. Segue-se Mad Max com dez nomeações e The Martian com Matt Damon também a receber a indicação para melhor actor.
